I have found the fire sprinkler design to be acceptable subject to the following comments: 1. Review was based on design criteria provided by Patriot Fire of 0.15gpm/s.f. over 1500s.f. Review is limited to the addition for the I -Fly space. 2. Per Patriot Fire an existing backflow prevention device is assumed to be installed outside in the vault. If there is not an existing backflow prevention device and one is added, the hydraulic calculations will need to be updated to reflect the additional friction loss. The safety margin available based on the current calculations and reported water supply should easily accommodate the addition. 3. An additional sprinkler is needed at the north end of Hallway 109 on the first floor to provide proper spacing to the north wall. Patriot Fire has indicated that this sprinkler will be added prior to submittal to the Tukwila Fire Department. Pacific Rim Fire Code Consulting, PLLC 4. The detail call -out on Sheet FP2 to detail "B/FP1" needs to be changed to call out detail "C/FP1" to properly indicate the standpipe detail. This call -out occurs at the stairway in the NW corner of the space on both the first and second floor plans. Patriot Fire has indicated that this changed will be made prior to submittal to the Tukwila Fire Department.
