Viking has been awarded a project with Sabey construction to return a server room back to its
original shell. Viking scope of work will include demo of 200 drops from the pre -action system up
at the roof that came down to the demolished ceiling. Viking will leave the short (2' to 3' and hung
to structure) armover's and plug the outlet for the future tenant.
Viking has also been contracted to remove the Twenty (20) existing FM -200 systems of different
sizes, both above the ceiling and below the raised floor. The tanks will be removed from the
tenant space and be disposed of by Sabey. All FM -200 systems have been decommissioned and
made safe to remove.
Also, Viking will be upgrading the seismic bracing up to Factory Mutual standards, per Sabey's
request. This bracing will only add bracing, not remove any of the existing seismic bracing. Viking
has also advised that Sabey add line bracing now to meet City of Tukwila standards, which
Sabey agreed to.
As we discussed on the phone, please provide a City of Tukwila shut down number so that Viking
will be able to shut down the system, to demo and plug the existing drops.
