Presentation — Derek Speck and Brandon Miles - Gathering community input for City economic development
plan.
Approval of minutes: 9/8/22 meeting minutes approved.
Chief's Updates:
• Staffing
• Continuing concern at Light Rail Station with drug use/crime
• New crime of choice is driving cars into buildings for theft
• Mall continues to raise concern over crime rate and risk to retail workers
• SPIDR data — shared September/October reporting
• Speed Cameras to go in on 42nd (x2) and Codiga Park. Traffic emphasis in Allentown.
Word on the Street
• Flock license plate readers still working through legal
• Police advisory still in development for long range PD plan
