Provide your comments on the
Allentown Truck Reroute Project
Environmental Impact Statement
Community input is needed as the City prepares an
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to evaluate
alternatives to reroute existing BNSF truck traffic in
Allentown.
An EIS is a process to evaluate potential effects that a
proposed project may have on the built and natural
environment. The first step in the EIS is called
scoping. Scoping is where we ask you to share your
input on what issues and alternatives should be
analyzed.
The formal EIS scoping comment period is from
February 14th through March 15tH
Formal comments can be provided by:
• Attending our community meeting
tomorrow, February 28th from 5:30 to
7pm at the Tukwila Community Center
(12424 42nd Ave S, Tukwila, WA 98168)
• Submitting an online comment on the
project website
• Emailing a comment to
AllentownTruckReRoute@TukwilaWA.gov
• Mailing a comment to Mark Hafs 6300
