USA 03087 INTUITIVE FIRE 6-3-19 Re: Tire Seattle Storage Evaluation Project- CBRE Seattle Tukwila, Wa Code/Standard References NFPA 2016 Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems Fire Sprinkler Design Basis ESFR-Hazardous Storage Protection Overview: The building is a 30 ft storage warehouse intended to store rubber Tires. I have provided a review of the drawings (Dated 5/8/19) and calculations and recorded the following observations: 1- 212 degree ESFR Sprinklers are to installed to protect the tire hazard. 2- The tires are to be stored to a maximum of 25 ft stored on side or on tread on racks without solid shelves. Review: NFPA 13, Chapter 12 defines the installation limitations for ESFR sprinkler systems, while Chapter 18 provides guidance specific to Rubber Tire Storage.
