System design should be reinforced to adequately protect the increased hazards if there is any deviation from the occupancy such as the use of flammable liquids, the storage or use of more than 15% plastics in the content of packaging materials, storage over 12 feet in height, etc. 2. Hydraulic calculations does not include the 100 gpm at the base of the riser (BOR) for inside hose allowance as required per WSRB plus the 250 gpm reserved for outside hose allowance for ordinary hazard and 500 gpm for extra hazard occupancies. 3. All ventilation must be shut -down at the time of agent discharge and, if possible, ell openings must be closed. Coverage The protected space is divided into volume segments for coverage purposes. For applications with ceiling heights up to and including 12 feat, the maximum surface area coverage for each nozzle is 112.5 square feet, subject to a longest side, for rectangular areas, not to exceed 15 feet. The maximum distance from the ceiling to the nozzle tip is 4.5 Inches. One INO-21 or IND -25 must use two of the new total flooding discharge nozzles, providing a total area end volume coverage of 225 square feet and 2,700 cubic feet, respectively. One IND -45 or IND -50 must use four of the new total flooding discharge nozzles, providing a total area end volume coverage of 450 square feet and 5,400 cubic feet, respectively. The maximum area and volume coverages are listed in Table 1. Each nozzle should be centered in its protected volume segment.
