Portable fire extinguishers shall be provided within a 30 -foot (9144 mm) travel distance of commercial - type cooking equipment. Cooking equipment involving vegetable or animal oils and fats shall be protected by a Class K rated portable extinguisher. (IFC 904.12.5) Outdoor cooking must be conducted at least 20 feet from the tent structures. *To operate an air -supported temporary membrane structure or a tent having an area in excess of 400 square feet (37 m2), or a canopy in excess of 700 square feet (65 m2) per section 105.6.45 of the International Fire Code *For tents 25 ft. x 25 ft. or larger, means of egress shall be illuminated with light having an intensity of not less than 1 footcandle (11 lux) at floor level while the structure is occupied. Fixtures required for means of egress illumination shall be supplied from a separate circuit or source of power. Maintain emergency vehicle access around property as submitted with application.
