The following revisions or additions to the design as shown would qualify the protection for improved rates based upon information shown on these plans: Arrangements should be made to allow a representative of this Bureau to complete a cover inspection of all piping before it is concealed by building construction, and to witness tests of the local water motor alarm and 2 -inch water supply test pipe. Completed copies of the Contractor's Material and Test Certificates for both the overhead and underground piping should be submitted to this Bureau. All piping, valves, and fittings should be listed and labeled by UL for fire service and installed, tested, and flushed in accordance with NFPA standards. A minimum temperature of 40 degrees F must be maintained with a thermostatically controlled heating system in all areas containing wet pipe sprinkler equipment. 1. The proposed design of .18 gpm per sq. ft. over 3,000 sq. ft. is acceptable for storage stocks on wood pallets and/or shelves up 12 feet in height.
