ORDINANCE NO. 440 EXPIRED
AN ORDINANCE adopted pursuant to RCW 35.24.340 and 35.33.070
fixing the amount necessary to be raised by taxation for the 1966
City of Tukwila Budget.
WHEREAS, the estimate of current expense in the 1966 City of
Tukwila budget is $143,368.00
WHEREAS, the total of estimated revenue from sources other
than real property taxation is $57,369.00
WHEREAS, the amount required to be raised by real property
taxation is $85,999.00
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA do ordain as follows:
That the amount of $85,999.00 to bs provided by a 15 mill
tax levy be leived on all real property in the City of Tukwila.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify
this amount to the King County Commissioners as the amount to be
raised by taxation.

Dear Sir:
I am enclosing herewith a Certificate of Assessed Valuation of
Town of '1'111(74 1P for the year 1965.
RCW 84. 52. 020 directs that officials of all taxing districts,
authorized by law to levy taxes, shall certify to the County
Assessor, on or before the Wednesday following the first
Monday in October of each year, the amount of taxes levied
upon the property within the city or district, for city or
district purposes.
It is necessary that a copy of the budget for the year 1966 be sub-
mitted.
