CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ekberg (on-site) called the Special Meeting ofthe Tukwila City Council to order at 9:05 p.m.
directly following the Committee of the Whole meeting,
ROLL CALL
Andy Youn, Deputy City Clerk, called the.rolI ofthe Council. Present at the meeting were

(1) Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Catholic Community Services for the 2023-2024
Emergency Assistance Program, in the amount of $50,000.00.
(2) Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Childhaven for the 2023-2024 Continuum of Care
Program, inthe amount of$7O.00U.00.
(3) Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Children's Therapy Center for 2023-2024 therapeutic
servicen, in the amount of $15,000.00 as Tukwila's share toward total funding in the amount of
$142.356.00.
(4) Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Multi Service Center for the 2023-2024 Emergency
Assistance Program, inthe amount of$94.O00.OU,
(5) Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with the Refugee Women's Alliance for 2023-2024 for
basic neads, in the amount of $63,000.00,
(6) Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with the Tukwila Pantry Food Bank for 2023-2024 for food
distribution services, inthe amount of$8O.00O.00.
d. An ordinance repealing Ordinance Nos. 2466 and 2651, as codified in Tukwila Municipal Code (TMC)
Title 7, "Animals"; reenacting TMC Title 7 to adopt by reference King County Code Title 11.

e. A resolution repealing Resolution No. 2018 and adopting a revised Fire Permit Fee Schedue.

f. Authorize the Mayor to sign a grant agreement with the Washington State Department of Ecology for
2021-2023 Municipal Stormwater Capacity -Building (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
— NPDES), in the amount of $70,000.00.
MOVED BY HOUGARDY, SECONDED BY DELOSTRINOS JOHNSON TO APPROVE THE CONSENT
AGENDA AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
EXECUTIVE SESSION — Property Sale or Lease — Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(c)(30 minutes)
Mayor Ekberg announced the Council will now go into an Executive Session to discuss:
Property Sale or Lease — Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) (30 minutes)
The total amount of time will be no more than 30 minutes, and no decisions will be made during the
Executive Session. No action will be required in the Open Meeting after the Executive Session has
concluded.
He declared the meeting adjourned as of the conclusion of the Executive Session. The Executive Session
will not be extended beyond the announced time, and they will not be returning to open session to
adjourn or for any other reason.
0:08 p.m. Mayor Ekberg called for a brief recess to allow the Councilmembers to convene to the
Executive Session.
