HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1028 - Maule Avenue as One Way StreetMEETING J DATE I AGENDA I ACTION I /z7 9 1 PA R J') I -7/5I�/; P CITY OF T WASHINGTON ity Attorney Approved as to Form: ORDINANCE NO. 1 d AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MAULE AVENUE AS A ONE -WAY STREET WHEREAS, there is a strip of land varying from twenty to thirty feet known as Maule Avenue that runs parallel to and on the east side of Interurban Avenue; and, WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to improve public safety on this street as it is not of sufficient width to support two -way traffic; and, WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Tukwila City Council at a Regular Meeting on the 18th day of April, 1977, to discuss a proposal to change Maule Avenue to a one -way street. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Maule Avenue shall be designated a northbound one -way street from South 147th to South 143rd Place. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof, this 5 day of 1977.
