To install or remove any flammable or combustible liquid tank per
79.116 of the Uniform Fire Code.
Installation or removal of underground tanks having an individual
capacity or total aggregate capacity of greater than 10,000
gallons, and installation or removal of underground tanks located
within 200 feet of the Green/Duwamish Rivers requires approval of
the Tukwila Planning Department.
All aboveground tank installations require approval of the Tukwila
Planning and Public Works Department. Installation of aboveground
tanks shall be limited to MICH, MICL, HI, LI and C/LI zones.
A site plan showing property lines, building locations(s), storm
drain location(s), public access, proposed screening and
containment must be submitted for review prior to approval.
