I do see on the satellite view submitted with the permit application that the hydrant was not visible or shown on the submitted satellite view and there was obstructions present that made a further review of the site appear that there would not be a hydrant located at the proposed site. Otherwise this would likely have been caught at permit review. Bottom line is that the propane tank as placed, is an obstruction to the hydrant located at the southwest side of the building which is not allowed per IFC 507.5.4 and it will have to be relocated. Instead of having you resubmit and wait for plan review, work with Safway and when you have a location that you think will work, call me and make an appointment and I'll come out to approve the site.
