Per UFC Section 12.104(b), EXIT doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. 2. Per UFC Section 12.113(b), at every required exit doorway, and wherever otherwise required to clearly indicate the direction of egress, an EXIT sign with letters at least six inches high and readily distinguishable shall be maintained. 3. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas All modifications to sprinkler systems shall have the written approval of the Washington Survey Rating Bureau, then of the Tukwila Fire Department. No work shall commence without approved drawings. 4. Maintain present extinguisher coverage. 5. All wood used in construction is to be fire- retardant treated. 6. All interior wall covering materials shall be fire- resistive or shall be treated to be fire- resistive, so as to result in a flame- spread rating of at least Class III (Class II for exit- ways). A certificate of the flame spread rating is required to be delivered to the Tukwila Fire Department.
