AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA WASHINGTON AMENDING AND REPEALING CERTAIN
SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO 934 RELATING TO CHARGES FOR SEWER SERVICE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 14.16.030 or Ordinance No. 934 which read as
follows:
14.16.030 Schedule of Charges. Rates and charges for sewage service
furnished and available for use shall be paid by the owner of the property
and shall be as follows:
(1) Residential Sewage Service. A flat rate of five dollars and
twenty cents ($5.20) per month for each single family residence shall
be charged.
(2) Multiple Dwelling. The rate of five dollars and twenty cents
($5.20) per month for the first dwelling unit and four dollars an_ seventy
cents ($4.70) for each additional unit shall be charged.
(3) School Sewage Service. The rate -e*- twenty- eewts420 4- pew- Fienth

rate few- 3aie3- dal•, -and- August shall be the commercial /industrial sewage rate.
(4) Commercial and Industrial Sewage Service. A flat rate of five
dollars and twenty cents per nine hundred cubic feet or less of water usage
shall be charged. The rate for sewage service on premises using more than
nine hundred cubic feet of water per month shall be twenty -e4ght fifty -two
cents per additional one hundred cubic feet.
(5) Summer Sewage Rate for Commercial and Industrial. The cubic foot
rate shall be based on the average water usage for the premises during months
from October through March, unless covered by an exempt meter.
(6) Penalty Charge. There shall be a penalty charge of fifty cents
per month on sewer accounts more than thirty days in arrears.
Section 2. Section 14.16.030 or Ordinance 934 be and the same
hereby is repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five
(5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law.
