Charles 0. Baker, at 8:OOP.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, E.W. Ives and
Jerry Hamilton.
Mayor Baker asked that the candidates for the upcoming elections be seated at the
Council table, along with Mr. Strander who is running for Mayor.
First order of business was the Mohr- Cooper annexation petition, Mr Hanson repres- lu
ented Mohr and Cooper.
Mayor Baker read a letter from our Attorney in regard to the above mentioned annex-
ation. In brief Mr. Hodge stated that if all to be annexed were in agreement, the
meeting with the Review Board could be despensed with.
Mr. Minkler moved council accept the petition, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried.
Mayor Baker asked that letters be sent to Mr. Ed Munro of the King County Commissioners
also Mr. LM. Dimmitt, County Superindentent of Schools, in regard to despensing with
the Review Board. at this time Mr. Hanson was excused.

The minutes of the January meeting were read and approved as corrected.
The current bills were examined and vouchers signed. Mr Minkler moved that all bills
approved by the finance committee be allowed and warrants drawn up for their respective
amounts, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried.

Mr. Zepp was requedted to take a weekly reading of the" A� fi System
Building report was given by George Long.
The police dept report was given by Lee R. Phillips.
Jerry Hamilton reported on the Sanitation
Mr. Diehl, of Harstad associates is taking Bare of a few changes being made in the
pumping station in Andover Park, Mr. Zepp will follow through on this.
Mr. Minkler discussed with council the possibility of parking trailers in the City
as a temporary measure to accommodate Century 21 visitors.
It was aggeed that a two weak permit be allowed with Mr. Long and Chief Parker
to!'foliaa through on the above mentioned permits.

Mr. Hamilton read a copy of the contract and Exhibit "Au which will become
effective the 1st of April, giving ample time to sever our connection with the
City of Auburn. The City of Renton and Auburn will be notified of our adoption
of the King County Humane Society Contract. Notices will be posted, also notices
will be included in the March water bills.
Mr. Ives moved that resolution #151, relating to dog control be placed on its 1st
reading, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried
Mr. resolution 151 be p—on its second reading, seconded by
Mr. Hamilton and carried.
Mr. resolution 151 be placed on its third and final passage, seconded
by Mr. Minkler and carried.
The ordinance relating to storage of fuel oil was reviewed by the Council, Mr.
Long will check into this with Mr. Hodge.
The ordinance on Excavating and grading was also discussed, this was tabled until
the February 19th meeting. Mr, Long will go over this with Mr. Wing of Puget Western.
Puget Sound Power and Light has provided us with a map and description of areas they
service, The meeting was recessed at 9 :45 P.M. to convene at 8:00 P.M. on february
19, 1962.
