Charles 0. Baker at 8:00 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A.G. Radford
R.K. Doyle E.W. Ives and Jerry Hamilton also seated at the council table were the
candidates for the coming election, namely Strander, IIr Aliment, Mr. Bowen, Mrs
Eastwood and Mr. Forsythe.
The minutes of the February meeting were read and arnroved as corrected.
The current bills were examined and voucher:.: and vouchers signed. Mr..Minkler. moved
that all bills approved by the finance committee be allowed and warrants drawn up
for their respective amounts, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried.

The Treasurer's report was read and accepted
The report of the Water department was read and placed on file.
Mr. Long gave the report of building permits.
Mr. Leahy reported on the Fire Department.
Mr. Regal reported for the school board, stating that the prdlimary plans for
the new school are being drawn up.
Mr. Minkler read a letter received from Shoreline Construction Co. in regard )0'
to the payment of Schedule A B
Mr. Deihl commented on the type of repair work to be done in the Industrial area.
A letter from Robert Wing of Puget Western was also read, pretaining to the
above mentioned repair work. This matter was tabled til the meeting of March 19,
all parties concerned were invited to this meeting.
Mr. Deihl and Mr. Suziki? will go into detail on this matter wih our attorney.
Mr. Minkler read the bid from The Renton Chronicle, in regard to publishing the
legal matters and ordinances for the City of Tukwila.
A letter received from Mr. Alberti was discussed, as to where our out fall line
in conjunction with the proposed highway route. Mr. Alberti stated that he had
contacted Mr. Clarey on this. Mr. Long and Mr. Zepp were asked to work with Mr.
Clarey and Mr. Bogai`'r on this.
Mr. Hamilton read a letter received from Puget Western in regard to IMaintinanceit
and operation of the Water and Sewer L.I.D.

Mr. Chellette brought up the subject of the possibility of having salavge yards
in the M -1 zoning area. Mr. Chellette was advised to attend the Planning Commission
meeting to present them with his thour on the above.
The meeting was recessed at this time to convene at 8:00 p.m March 12, 1962

Mr. Hamilton moved that all advertizments for legal matters and publishing of
ordinances for the City of Tukwila be placed in the Renton Chronicle, seconded
by Mr. Minkler and carried.
