Baker at 8:00 p.m. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, E.W Ives and Jerry Hamilton First order of business was the public hearing on an annexation petition as was-, advertised for certian areas contiguous to the City of Tukwila Mayor Baker asked permission to dispense with the Reveiw Board as the majority had agreed to do so, moved by Mr. Hamilton, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried The City Clerk read a letter received from L.M. Dimmitt Superintendent of Schools) wherein he expressed his agreement to dispense with the Reveiw board. In view of this annexation, Mr. Ives questioned Mr. Hanson as to the type of Structure they intended for this area, whereon Mr. Hanson showed council a picture of the type of homes they widhed to build, Er. Minkler moved that council accept the annexation petition, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. Mr. Hamilton moved that ordinance 357, relating to annexation be placed on its 1st reading, seconded by Mr. Minkler and carried. Mr. Hamilton moved that ordinance 357 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried. M.r. Minkler moved that ordinance 357 be placed on its 3rd and final passage, seconded. by Mr. Ives and carried Mr. 1 *anson was then advised by Mayor Baker to appear before the Planning Commission_ to determine the type of zoning for the newly annexed area. Mr. Minkler moved that council accept the bid received from the Renton Chronicle for publishing ordinances and le al Matters seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. "1 Pew Mr. Hamilton read a letter received from Puget Western in regard to re- zoning of certian property, council discussed this at length as to the advantages and dis- advantages of chamging the zoning. The City Clerk read a letter received from Puget Western in regard to maintinance and operation expense of Water and Sewer LI.D. three current bills were examined and vouchers signed. Mr. Minkler moved that all bills approved by the finance committee be allowed and warrants drawn up for there respective amounts, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried Mr. Minkler read a letter from the IicMicken Heights Community Club, pretaining to a change they wish to make in their water system. Mr. Zepp was asked to contact Mr. Benson(the chairman) to go over the details of the proposed plan. Mr. Hamilton moved that ordinance 3$8 pretaining to temporary trailer permits be placed on its 1st reading, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried. Mr. Ives moved that ordinance 358 be plaared on its second reading, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. Mr. Ives moved that ordinance 358 be placed on its 3rd and final passage, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. The meeting was recessed to reconvene Monady, March 19, 1962 at 8:00 p.m.
