The Recessed meeting of the Tukwila City Council was called to order by the
John B. Strander at 8:00 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, Richard
R.K. Doyle Jerry Hamilton and A.G. Radford.
First order of business the appointment the Mayor of
Mr.
Planning Commission. His term to expire in January 1964.
Mt. Doyle moved that council approve the appoint :ant of Mr.
lton and carried. was
Pr. I�nkler moved that ordinance 361 amending ordinance
reading seconded by Mr. Bowen and carried.
Mr. Minkler moved that ordinance 361 be placed on its
Mr. Bowen and carried.

by Fir. Hamilton and carried.
Mr. Zepp_presented a resolution to the council in regard to retaining Harstad Associates
for our engineer in relocating certian water lines. Mr. Hamilton move_ that council
accept Resolution 153 in this regard, seconded by Mr Minkler and carried.
Mr. Scott Urughart was appointed to the Civil jervice Commission as ten to expire
January 1968. Mr. Minkler moved that council accept this appointment, seconded by
Mr. Doyle and carried.
Mr. Hamilton gave a report on licenses
Mr. Bowen reported on grounds and buildings.
Mr. David Diehl from Harstad Associates introduced Mr. Ray -geed to the Council, I=r.
Reed will be working as project engineer for thc Tukwila area.
Mt. Robert `'wing gave a brief report on Abbott Laboratories, stating that th land-
scaping plans will be submitted to the Planning °omission by July or August. The
specifications of the new streets was also discussed with the council.
Mr. Minkler read a copy of a letter sent to the Retreiver Club, by Puget eestern in
regard to target shooting in the Industrial Park.
Mr. Doyle conferf'ed with the highway dept, in regard to the placing of signs of Tukwila
on the highways, nothing hadibreiawdecided in that regard as of this tine.
Mr. Minkler moved that all bills approved by the finance committee be allowed and warrents
drawn up for their respective amountx, seconded by Mr. Doyle and carried.
Mr. H ton moved that council adjourn, seconded by Mr. Radford and carried.
