E.W. Ives, Jerry Hamilton, and Richard Bowen.
Mayor Strander presented to council a letter received from the Railroad officials,
1 ,1.3inthey requested an extension of time to clear up the fire hazard on the
railroad right of way. Mayor Strander also presented to council the signed contract
from Harstad Associates, Engineers for the City of Tukwila.
Mr. Robert C. Wing, of Puget Western read a letter approving the specifications of
LID# 2 3 as presented by Harstad Associates.
Mr. Wing read a letter in regard to the specifications of street paving in Andover
Park 2.
Mr. Ray Reed stated that notice of bid calls for LID 2 &3 within Andover Industrial
Park 2 have been published in the Daily Journal of Commerce and The Record Chronicle,
bids to be opened at 7:30 P.M. on July 30, 1962
Mr, Hamilton reported on a recent meeting of the Val Vue Sewer District in conjunction
with Tukwila sewer problems, further discussion and meetings will be held in this regard.
Mr. Abel discussed with council the type of zoning on his property. Council was recessed
at this time until Monday evening July 30, 1962 at 7:30 P.M.
The recessed meeting of the Tukwila City Council was called to order by the Mayor
John B. Strander at'7:39 -P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A.G. Radford,
R.K. Doyle, E.W. Ives Jerry Hamilton and Richard Bowen.
First order of business was the opening of bids for LID 2 3 for Andover Industrial
Park 2. The bids received were read by Mr. Ray Reed of H arstad Associates.

Mr. Minkler moved that Harstad Associates study the bids for their approval, the
award to be made at the meeting of August 6, 1962. Seconded by Mr. Hamilton and
carried. Mr. Ives moved Council adjourn seconded by Mr. Doyle and carried.
