In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please
note the following items:
1. Per UFC Section 12.104(b), EXIT doors shall be
openabie from the inside without the use of a
key or any special knowledge or effort.
2. Per UFC Section 12.113(b), at every required
exit doorway, and wherever otherwise required
to clearly indicate the direction of egress, an
EXIT sign with I.etters at least six inches high
and readily distinguishable shall be maintained.
3. Maintain square foot coverage of detectors per
manufacturers specifications and per NFPA #72
In all areas including;.closets, elevator shafts,
tops of stairwells, etc. (Smoke detector system)
4. Insure that adequate electrical service .(receptacles).
is ,installed. This will help to eliminate .th_e
future illegal u,se of extension cords or other
unapproved devices.
