October 4, 1962
The recessed meeting of the Tukwila City Council was called to order by the
Mayor John B. Strander at 7 :00 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler,
Ives Jerry Hamilton and William Aliment.
Council discussed the earth moving project with Mr/ Segale. Mr. Segale stated
that if any undue accident should occur all work would be stopped immediately,
a total of 10,000 cubic yards of rock is to be removed. A permit will be issued`

on a yearly basis. In addition Mr. Segale stated that the people in the area
will be notified in ad Vance of any blasting. Mr. Aliment moved that council
approve this quarry permit, seconded by Mr. Minkler and carried.
Mayor Strander stated that 73 or 74% of the required signatures have been
obtained in regard to the annexation of certian property.
Mr. Aliment discussed with council the possibility of movin^ the police station
into an unused building accross the drive way. this will be checked into, to be
reported on at a later meeting. The meeting was recessed at this time to re-
convene Monday October 15, 1962
