HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1763 - 1996 Budget J ,�vJILA i Q p 1908 Tu lkwffa it o Washington �h 74 3 Ordinance No. 7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1996. WHEREAS, the preliminary budget of the City of Tukwila for the year was timely submitted to the City Council, and WHEREAS, a public hearing on the proposed budget was advertised and held on November 27,1995, and WHEREAS, pursuant to the hearing, certain changes were made in the proposed budget, and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the budget on file with the City Clerk entitled "City of Tukwila Budget, 1996," is hereby adopted by reference as though fully set forth in accordance with RCW 35A.33.075. Section 2. A complete copy of the final budget for 1996, as adopted, together with a copy of this adopting ordinance shall be transmitted by the City Clerk to the Division of Municipal Corporations of the Office of the State Auditor and to the Association of Washington Cities. Section 4. This ordinance shall be published in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after the date of publication.
