P E R M I T
THIS PERMIT, made this day of
19 between AIlied.S Inc. dba Bon Marche
hereinafter called Permittor, and the MUNICIPALITY OF METRO-
POLITAN SEATTLE, a municipal corporation of the State of
Washington, hereinafter called Permittee,
WITNESSETH:
The Permittor for and in consideration of the obligations
of the Permittee herein contained,•hereby allows the Permittee
to occupy and use approximately 210 square feet of
land within a portion of a tract of land for the purpose of
installing, maintaining, repairing, replacing and using a bus
passenger shelter, said portion and said tract of land being
more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 26, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., in
King County, Washington being more particularly described as
follows:
A strip of land 18 feet in width lying east of and adjoining
the east margin.of Southcenter Parkway and lying between two
lines distant 67.5 and 79.5 feet, respectively, s

to the Bon Marche Warehouse, as shown on the attached drawing
of site 4234.
The land covered by this permit is hereinafter called "the
premises

This Permit is to remain in force for at least a twenty
four.month period from the effective date noted below, and may

be terminated after said period at the option of either party 4
b giving written notice to the other 60 days or more in advance 3
of the. termination date. Permittee shall remove said shelter
within said 60 day period and restore the premises to as good a
condition or better than the premises existed before the installation
of the shelter all at the sole expense of Permittee.
By accepting this Permit, Permittee agrees to install
said shelter in a manner that will not impair the use and
occupancy of the remainder of Permittor.'s property and shall
maintain said shelter and the adjacent area required for the
use of the bus passengers in a reasonably neat and clean con
dition. During the term of this permit, the Permittee shall
have and quiet use and enjoyment of the premises. 3
All improvements installed by the Permittee on the premises
shall remain the personal property of Permittee and shall not
become or be considered to be fixtures. Permittee shall protect
and save harmless Permittor and the owners of the property if
other than the Permittor, from and against any and all claims,
demand, loss, damage, expense and liability of every kind and.
description including personal injury, suffered by Permittor
or the owner, their heirs, successors and assigns; or by any
persons or corporation because of the construction, maintenance
and /or lawful use of said bus passenger shelter.
All' utilities serving said bus passenger shelter including
but not limited to electricity, water and garbage collection
shall be installed and paid for by Permittee. if this Permit
shall be terminated, Permittee shall be responsible and shall
pay for the removal of all such utilities.
