John B. Strander at 8:00 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A.G. Radford,
R.K. Doyle, E. W. Ives, Jerry Hamilton, Richard Bowen and rilliam Aliment.
The minutes of the October meeting were read ?nd approved as read. The current bills
were examined and vouchers signed. Mr. ':inkier -o:Ted that all bills approved by the
finance committee be allowed and warrants drawn up for their respective amounts,
seconded by Mr. Radford and carried.

department was read and placed on file.
Mr. Long reported 5 building permits issued in October. Mr. Redford reported
for the Street Committee.

Mr. Zepp discussed with Council the possibility of adding a certain area to our
water district. Mayor Strander advised that the Water Co-rni_ttre, council and other
interested parties get together with Mr. Reed to study this more thoroughly.
Mr. Doyle moved that Ordinance 365 relating to water rates, repealing nordinanceA
331 be placed on its 1st reading seconded by Kr. Aliment and carried.
Mr. Doyle moved that Ordinance ti 368 be placed on its 2nd reading, seconded by Mr.
Aliment and carried. Mr. Doyle roved that Ordinance ;r 368 be placed on its Third
and final passage seconded b'r Mr. Aliment and carried.
Mr. Minkler moved that Council approve the agreement between the City of Tukwila and
State Highway Department in regard to their building activities, seconded by 'r.
Hamilton and carried. Mr. Hodge, City Attorney iscussed with Council a meeting with
Frank Coluccio in regard to additional payment on LID 2, 3. ;:.r. Reed stated that
$23,57 has already been paid and approximately $5,444.00 is still needed. Mr.
Radford, Mr. Bowen Mr. Hamilton will meet with Mr. Reed in this regard.
Mr. Aliment reported on the new Fire Hall. Mr. r'rey stated that there will he c

Mayor Stranderstated that the Civil Defense Committee has been expanded, Tips Zepp
Mr. Art Stevens and Chief Parker have been appointed to serve with _gar. alt Frey
and Mr. Rubert. Mr. Minkler reported on the Foli ce genartrient. dinkler moved
that Council accept the bid from Renton :Ford for the new Police car. seconded by
Mr. Aliment and carried. Mr. Ives reported for the Park and Beautificat;on Committee.
Mr. Minkler reporting for the Planning Commission stated that the Propeller :'hop
has been approved by the Planning Commission, this to be located at approximately
147th Avenue S. Interurban Avenue, the proposal for a Medical i%eta.l Clint was
tabled til a later date.
Mr. Johnson discussed with council the road bond in regard to a plat or `:1st South.
Mr. Reed and Fr. Radford will meet with Mr. Johnson to discuss this further.
Mlr. Minkler moved that Ordinance ri 369 relating to Plat Bonds be placed on its first
reading, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. Mr. Ives roved that Ordinance 'r 369
be placed on its secondx reading seconded by Tr. harnilton and carried. i`r. T'oyle
moved that Ordinance 369 he placed on its third and Ei_nal passage, seconded by
Mr. Hamilton and carried. Mr. Reed presented to "ouncil a plat of 'ndover Industrial
Park 2 Mr. Minkler moved that Council accept this proposed nalAt, seconded by
Mr. Boyle and carried.
Resolution 159 relating to the Central School rdstrict was nresented to
Council at this time. Mr. Ives moved that Council accept this resolution, seconded
by Mr. Minkler and carried. Yr. Hamilton reported for the License CorrriP.tee. r.
Doyle reported for Metro.
Senator Durkin was present at this council, he spoke to council about a Fire
Cracker bill and an annexation till that was brought up at the past ses.ion of
legislature.

Mr. '"cMullen discussed the possibility of a Street vacation at 57th and1V
with council. I:r. Hamilton moved that, council set up a public he.arinp for November
28, 1962 in this regard, seconded by Or. Bowen and carried. Mir. r'iehl di scusaed
with council the service at the Lift Station. Puget Mund Power rf Light will
give Tukwila a quotation on cost and soforth.
Specifications for new street department truck was presented to council at this
time Mr. Minkler :moved that council advertise for kids in this respect seconded
by Mr. Radford and carried.
Mr. McMullen filed a petition requesting s vacation of south 1 of the above
mentioned street. Resolution t1 160 relating to this street vacation was presented
at this time. Mr. Minkler moved that council ac ept this resolution, seconded by
Mr. Ives and carried. Teir being no further business for discussion, council was

The recessed meeting of the Tukwila City Council was called to order by the i--ayor,
John B. Strander at 8:00 P.i''. Councilmen present. were Stan i inkler, A.G. Radford,
E.W. Ives, Jerry Hamiltonand Richard Bowen.
Mayor Strander read the financial report received from the unicinal court.
Resolution 161 relating to ex- Mayor Charles 0. Baker as a lire time member
of the Valley Industrial Commission was presented to council. Br. irinkler roved
that council accept this resolution, seconded by Mr. Radford and carried.
Mr. Ives moved that ordinance ;f 370 providing; Tukwila with a _'ark Core it Sion be
placed on its first reading, seconded by Fr. Hamilton and carried. "r. hamilton
moved that Ordinance 370 be placed on its second reading seconded by 'qr. Bowen
and carried. Nr. Bowen moved that Ordinance 4 370 he placed on its third and final
passage, seonded by Mr. Ives and carried. Mr. Einkler moved that 3 bills apnroved ty
the finance committee be allowed and warrants drawn up for their respective amounts
seconded by Tyr. Radford and carried. A notorized statement was received from Henry
Peltier and Associates, stating that all libilities on he Peltier will be assam d.
