The recessed meeting of the Tukwila City Council was called to order by the
Mayor John B. STrander at 7:30 pm. Councilmembers present were Stan Minkler
A.G. Radford E. Ives Jerry Hamilton Richard Bowen William Aliment and
R. Doyle.
Mr. Hamilton read a letter received from Harstad Associates wherein Harstad
recomended that council accept the bid from Manufacturing Company
Richards for schedule A the total price being $2,260.00 Schedule B bid
from Donald W. Close for the total price of $2,236.24. Mr. Hamilton moved the
Council accept this bd, seconded by Mr. Aliment and carried.
Mr. Radford moved that Ordinance 377 relating to the betterment and extension
of the waterworks and utility for the City be palced on its first
reading seconded by Mr. Minkler and carried. Mr. Ives moved that Ordinance 377
be placed on its second reading. seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried.
Mr. Doyle moved that Ordinance 377 be placed on its thrid and final passage
seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried.
Mr. Hodge City Attorney read a resolution of Intent to Council this in
conjunction with the proposed sewer system to be installed in Tukwila.
mr. Bowen moved that Council accept this resolution accepted by Mr. Hamilton.
resolution 163 and carried.
A public hearing be scheduled for March 20 this to be held in tukwila
Community Club at 8:00 pm in regards to sewers. A notice of this hearing is published.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm.
