The Treasurer's report was read and approved as read. The report of the
water was read and placed on file.
Mr. Long reported on building permits issued in the month of March.
Mr. Radford reported for the Street Committee, Er. Radford reported on the
Street widening project. Err. Hamilton moved that council authorize Mr. Radford
to engage a surveyor to survey the street in this project, seconded by Mr. Ives
and carried.
Mr. Hamilton reported for the Sanitation Committee. Mr. Aliment reported for the
Fire Department, he stated that the Fire Department had 9 practice meetings 16
fires with a total of 132 men participating, the annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held
at the Tukwila Park on Sunday April 14, 1963.
Chief Parker gave a complete report on the Police Department.

Mr. Aliment reported on a recent meeting with Mr. Bruce Forbes in conjunction with
the Food Control, Mr. Bowen reported on the Buildings and Gvounds.
Mr. Ives reporting on the Park and Beautification, stated that a letter was received

Mr. Ives moved that Council approve this Washington Work Crew, seconded by 1~r.
Aliment and carried. This labor is paid by State compensation.
Mr. Minkler reported for the Planning Commission.
Minnesota Mining Nfg. Co. presented plans to council for tl proposed new building
in Andover Park.
Mr. Ives reported for the School Committee. Mr. Hamilton reported for the nummx
License Committee, an application for a business license was received from Valley
Construction Co. an application for a Storage yard on the Segale Property, a varience
was requested. Mr. Aliment moved that this be turned over to the Planning Commission
seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried.
The question of paying City employee's on a semi monthly basis was discussed with
council. Mr. Bowen will report on this at the meeting of April 15, 1963.
The meeting was recessed at this time to re- convene Monday April 15, 1963 at 8:00 P.A.
