The recessed meeting of the Tukwila City Council was called to order by the Mayor,
John B. Strander at 8:00 P. Y. Councilmen present were Stan Dinkier, A.G. Radford,
E.W. Ives, Jerry A. Hamilton, Richard A. Bowen and Bill Aliment.
Mayor Strander stated that the express purpose for this recessed meeting was
for the signing of the work contract in regard to the sewer project, getting all
loose ends tied up.

now, however this will have to be delayed til the meeting of September 16, 1963.
Mayor Strander stated that the meeting with the Finance Advisors earlier in the
day went very well with everything in order and agreement. Counci1men."iamilton,
Radford, Bowen and Aliment attended this meeting along with Mayor Str» der.
Mr. Hodge gave a brief resume' of the feasibility of the selling of the bonds
in connection with Puget Western and Val Vue. The agreement with Puget Western
was also discussed with council.
Mr. Drew questioned council as to the workings of the bonds and soforth.
Mr. Heinke of Harstad Associates will review the cost and monies owed us by Puget
Western, the sewer guarantee fund will aso be reviewed. Mr. Hamilton moved that
council authorize Harstad Associates to audit this review for the Developer, seconded
by Mr. Aliment and carried.
Mr. Ives reported on his talk with Mr. Goodwin in regard to the Desimone property.
This 90 acres will stay on the tax roll and not made into a park.
Mr. Minkler suggested that Mayor Strander write a letter to the County Commissioners
expressing our views on this matter.
