The City of Tukwila is seeking High School Student interns to assist the City with various projects and programs, and to
learn about working in City government. This is a paid summer internship, schedule to be determined, working up to 30
hours per week, from July 10 through August 25, 2023.
To apply, you must fill out the online application. If you do not have any work experience, please include examples of
volunteering or leadership experience you have gained through school, clubs or other organizatio ns in the additional
information section.
Timeline for applications High School Summer Internship Program 2023
• May 19 - Applications due by 5 pm
• May 22-25 - Review Applications
• May 29 - All candidates notified whether they are moving on to interviews or not
• June 5-9 - Interviews
• June 12 - Remaining candidates notified whether they have been selected for an internship or not
• July 10 - First official day for all interns; Orientation
• August 25 - Last official day of internship
