1. Call to Order—The meeting was called to order at 6:31 pm.
2. Approval of Minutes — It was moved and seconded to approve the minutes of the March COPCAB
meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Deputy Chief Eric Lund gave the chief's report
a. Staffing update
b. LPR system has been very productive
c. Many juvenile fight issues in the food court at the mall.
d. TPD followed up with King 5 after their report
4. SPIDR Report — showed first quarter review and the different ways that data can be compiled and
displayed
5. Community Engagement Coordinator's Report
a. Working on putting together the spring Citizen's Academy
b. Took a class in environmental crime prevention
6. Blue Bridge Alliance Initiative
a. John Lindsey shared about the Blue Bridge Alliance, a program that many surrounding
departments are involved in.
b. Deputy Chief Lund will look into the program further and report back.

a. We need to find out if there truly is a 24-hour pet help line that folks can call when there is an
animal need or crisis outside of business hours
8. Good of the Order
a. Annexation for the Tukwila Fire Department into the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority will be
voted on, probably in August.
b. Discussion held around the reasons for this initiative and the recommendation to annex.
9. Adjournment —The meeting was adjourned at 7:54 pm.
