LAND USE APPLICATION
The City of Tukwila Student Broadband Connectivity Project will deploy an outdoor private
wireless solution to connect City of Tukwila students to quality broadband while they are within
Tukwila city limits. The focus will be on the neighborhoods of Allentown, Tukwila Hill, and
Tukwila International Boulevard. Of the six sites five are building co -locations and one is a new
wooden pole.

Wireless Facilities are regulated by TMC Chapter 18.58. Application materials and status for
each permit may be reviewed online at https://www.tukwilawa.gov/departments/permit-
center/ . To comment on the project, learn about the process, or request a copy of any

The City of Tukwila as the lead agency on the environmental review is using the optional DNS
process at WAC 197-11-355 and expects to issue a Determination of Non -Significance. The
combined 14 -day notice and comment period may be the only opportunity to comment on the
environmental impacts of the project. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may
be obtained upon request. Per TMC 21.04.280 administrative SEPA appeals are only allowed
for Mitigated Determinations of Non -Significance.
Comments on this project are requested by 5:00 pm on July 31, 2023.
