This meeting was conducted both on-site at T,ikwila City Hall and virtually via Microsoft Team.

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ekberg (on-site) called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at 9:50 p.m.
directly following the Committee of the Whole meeting.
ROLL CALL
Andy Youn, Deputy City Clerk, called the roll of the Council. Present at the meeting were
Councilmembers Kathy Hougardy (on-site), De'Sean Quinn (on-site), Kate KruUer(on'nite). Thomas
McLeod (on-site), Mohamed Abdi (on-site), Tosh Sharp (on-site).
MOVED BY KRULLER, SECONDED BY ABDI TO EXCUSE THE ABSENCE OF COUNCIL
PRESIDENT DELOSTRINOS JOHNSON. MOTION CARRIED 6-0.

c. Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Carollo Engineers for the Tukwila Reservoir Feasibility
Study, in the amount of $153,190.00.

d. Authorize the Mayor to accept a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology Water
Quality Combined Funding Program for the Enhanced Maintenance and Source Control Plan (EMP)
and Decant Facility Design at the combined Public Works Shops site, in the amount of $462,043.00
(local match $81.537.0O).

e. A resolution stating the City's intent to consider designating a residential targeted area for the
purpose of establishing a multi -family property tax exemption program, and setting the time for a
public hearing to consider the designation of the area. RESOLUTION NO. 2075

MOVED BY HOUGARDY, SECONDED BY MCLEOD TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS
SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 6-0.
