HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-09-19 Regular MinutesThe regular meeting of the Tukwila City Council was called to order by the
Mayor, John B. Strander at 8 :00 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan inkier,
A.G. Radford, E.W. Ives, Richard A. Bowen, Dwight P. Gardner and Robert P.
Anderson.
First order of busines s was the reading of the minutes of the :'eptember
6th meeting, the minutes were approved as read.
Mr. Minkler speaking for the Planning Commission read .a letter from the
Planning Commission whereby the commission turned over to council the plat plans
for Pacific Western Development Co. Mr. Harrison speaking for the Planning Commission
spoke on this Plat Plan. Mayor Strander stated that the council will sit as the
council section of the architectural Control Board to discuss this plat plan.
McCan speaking for the Pacific western Development presented there plans to
council. After a brief discussion with council tr. Anderson moved that these plans
be approved subject to the approval of Olympia and the engineers, seconded by Mr.
Ives and carried. This new building will be erected in Souihcenter Industrial e'er',
Mr. Minkler made note that these plans should be subject to aproved Iandseape also,
this seconded by Mr. Anderson motion carried.
Mr. Harrison speaking for the Planning com ission stated that because of
no quorum at the last Planning Commission meeting the Pub]iVPraring regarding the
rezoning changes in the Land Use Plan will be up for discussion at the meeting of
September 29, 1966.

Mr. Gardner `spoke to council in regard to a recent letter from Mr. i-lastings
Mrs. Flink questioned couneil about the realignment of 180th "r. Zepp stated that
no realignemnnt plans are in the offing at the present time.
