I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Financial Sustainability Committee Process
Staff updated the committee on effort to form a Financial Sustainability Committee as part of
the Financial Sustainability Plan and Utility Rate Study project. Committee members
discussed the information and made several suggestions, including looking for ways to
remove barriers, having the Council make the appointments, and looking to the City of
Seattle's recent process including comments made by the Seattle Chamber CEO.
Committee Recommendation
Forward to August 28, 2023 Committee of the Whole.
