AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO DOG KENNELS PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION
AND LICENSING THEREOF AND PRESCRIBED PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF REPEALING ORDINANCE NO 185
SECTION 1. Kennels defined. That for the purpose of this ordi-
nance a Do` fennel is d_er inea as a bulletin`;, enclosure or portion
of any premises inor at which dogs are boarded or kept or kept for
hire or in or at whici dogs are kept or maintained by any person
other than the owner thereof or in or at whlCt1 four or more dogs,
over the age of three months are kept or maintained.
SLCTIUiv a. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpor-
ation to operate or maintain a no kennel within the corporate
limits of the Town of Tukwila without first securing a license
therefor from the Town Council of said Town.
,SnCTION 3. It shall be required that each person, firm or cor-
poration desiring to operate or maintain a c kennel within tne
Town of Tukwila snail present to the Town council the signatures
of the occupants of the dwellings within aractius of six hundred

kennels fail to comply with such requirements or are in default for

sECTION 6. Any person, f irni or corporation violating•, any
provision el this &rainance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof shall rye punished by a fine of not less
than $25.00 nor more than $300.00
SECTION 7. Ordinance no. 135 which is in conflict with this
Ordinance is hereby repealed.
SLCTIG.N! 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and e ect
from and after its passage, signin and posting as required by law.
