All welding shall be done by a Washington Association of Building Official Certified welder. 5: Installation of high -strength bolts shall be periodically inspected in accordance with AISC specifications. 6: When special inspection is required, either the owner or the registered design professional in responsible charge, shall employ a special inspection agency and notify the Building Official of the appointment prior to the first building inspection.
