PROJECT Boeing Building 9.082 Tenant Improvement LOCATION Tukwila, Washington EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This project has been balanced per plans and specifications using the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) standards and procedures. Neudorfer Engineers performed the air and water balancing on the following: (10) New Heat Pumps and (3) Existing Heat Pumps These fans have been checked for unit data, operating amperage, voltage, rotation, and operating static pressure. All outlets have been proportioned to ± 10% of design airflow unless otherwise noted. Existing Water Source Heat Pump (HP2A14) (HP-1) This existing heat pump serves the 2nd Floor Office area of the Boeing Bldg. 9-08. The mechanical contractor replaced one existing diffuser with a new diffuser. Neudorfer Engineers made sure the new diffuser achieved the design CFM for just this one supply diffuser but obtained the airflows on the entire system for this heat pump. Design is 750 CFM and actual is 650 CFM (87% of design total). New Water Source Heat Pump (HP2A15) (HP-91 This new heat pump serves the 2nd Floor Office area of the Boeing Bldg. 9-08. Design is 2,300 CFM and actual is 2,775 CFM (121% of design total). The motor sheave is at the minimum position and the fan can't be slowed down anymore. The outside air actual CFM was obtained from a total air duct traverse. Refer to Duct Traverse Sheet T-01, for further details. This heat pump was tested in heating and cooling mode, refer to the Coil Test Data Sheets for further details. New Water Source Heat Pump (HP2A18) (HP-6) This new heat pump serves the 2nd Floor Office area of the Boeing Bldg. 9-08. Design is 1,340 CFM and actual is 1,415 CFM (106% of design total). The outside air actual CFM was obtained from a total air duct traverse. Refer to Duct Traverse Sheet T-02, for further details. This heat pump was tested in heating and cooling mode, refer to the Coil Test Data Sheets for further details. NATIONAL. ENVIRONMENTAL BALANCING BUREAU PROJECT Boeing Bldg. 9-08,2 Tenant Improvement LOCATION Tukwila, Washington EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (CONTD.) New Water Source Heat Pump (HP2A19) (HP-7) This new heat pump serves the 2nd Floor Office area of the Boeing Bldg. 9-08. Design is 625 CFM and actual is 660 CFM (106% of design total). The outside air actual CFM was obtained from a total air duct traverse. Refer to Duct Traverse Sheet T-03, for further details. This heat pump was tested in heating and cooling mode, refer to the Coil Test Data Sheets for further details.
