This permit shall become null and void if the work is not commenced within 180 days for the date of issuance, or if
the work is suspended nrabandoned for vperiod nfl8Odays from the last inspection.
PERMIT CONDITIONS:
l: Work shall be installed in accordance with the approved construction documents, and any changes made
during construction that are not in accordance with the approved construction documents shall be
resubmitted for approval.
2; All permits, inspection record card and approved construction documents shall hekept at the site ufwork
and shall be open to inspection by the Building Inspector until final inspection approval is granted.
3: All construction shall be done in conformance with the Washington State Building Code and the
Washington State Energy Code.
4: Remove all demolition rubble and loose miscellaneous material from lot or parcel of ground, properly cap
the sanitary sewer connections, and properly fill or otherwise protect all basements, cellars, septic tanks,
wells, and other excavations. Final inspection approval will be determined by the buil,ding inspector based
onsatisfactory completion mfthis requirement,

7: VALIDITY OFPERMIT: The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an
approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any other ordinances of the City
of Tukwila, Permits presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the code or other

acceptable with the following concerns:
12: H.V.A.C. units rated at greater than 2,000 cfm require auto -shutdown devices, These devices shall be
separately zoned in the alarm panel and local U.L. central station supervision is required. (City Ordinance
#2437)
13: H.V.4I. systems supplying air in excess of 2,000 cubic feet per minute to enclosed spaces within buildings
shall heequipped with vnautomatic shutoff. Automatic shutoff shall be accomplished hyinterrupting the
power source of the air -moving equipment upon detection of smoke in the main return -air duct served by
such equipment. Smoke detectors shall be labeled by an approved agency for air -duct installation and shall
be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. (|M[6U6.l'6O6Il}
14: Remote indicator lights are required on all above ceiling smoke detectors. (City Ordinance #2437)

Value of construction — in all cases, a value of construction amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is subject
to possible revision by the permit center to comply with current fee schedules.
Expiration of plan review — applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitation.
The building official may grant one extension of time for additional periods not to exceed 90 days each. The extension shall be requested in writing
and justifiable cause demonstrated. Section 105.3.2 International Building Code (current edition).

6. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE SUBMITTALS FOR ALL MATERIALS AND

7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL WARRANT THE INSTALLATION OF THE EQUIPMENT PURCHASED BY

B. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL WARRANT THE EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION OF THE EQUIPMENT

COMPLETION AS DETERMINED BY THE OWNER.
9. DUCT DIMENSIONS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS ARE CLEAR INSIDE DIMENSIONS.
10. GRILLES, REGISTERS, AND DIFFUSERS SHALL BE AS PER THE SCHEDULE. FRAME TYPE OF
EACH DEVICE SHALL BE DESIGNED FOR THE CEIUNG TYPE IN WHICH IT IS INSTALLED.
11. COORDINATE THE LOCATION OF ALL AIR DISTRIBUTION DEVICES WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL
REFLECTED CEILING PLAN, INCLUDING LIGHT FIXTURES, SPRINKLER HEADS, SPEAKERS, AND
SMOKE DETECTORS.
12. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND DEVICES (VALVES, DAMPERS, TERMINAL UNITS, ETC.)
INSTALLED ABOVE INACCESSIBLE COUNGS SHALL HAVE ACCESS DOORS INSTALLED IN THE
CEILING TO ALLOW FOR SERVICE. THE MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH THESE
ACCESS DOORS FOR THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO INSTALL. THE MECHANICAL
CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE LOCATION OF THESE DOORS WITH THE ARCHITECT TO
BEST ALLOW FOR SERVICE AND ARCHITECTURAL APPEARANCE.
13. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY FILTER MEDIA AS REQUIRED FOR THE
OPERATION OF CRAC'S, RTU'S DURING CONSTRUCTION. THESE FILTERS ARE TO BE
CHANGED AS NEEDED THROUGHOUT THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS. THE UNITS SHALL NOT
RUN WITHOUT THESE FILTERS INSTALLED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL THE FILTERS
PROVIDED WITH THE UNIT PRIOR TO THE AR BALANCE OF EACH UNIT. REFER TO
SPECIFICATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS,
14. VERIFY LOCATION OF THERMOSTATS AND SPACE TEMPERATURE SENSORS WITH THE
