Value of construction — in all cases, a value of construction amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is subject
to possible revision by the permit center to comply with current fee schedules.
Expiration of plan review — applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitation.
The building official may grant one extension of time for additional periods not to exceed 90 days each. The extension shall be requested in writing
and justifiable cause demonstrated. Section 105.3.2 International Building Code (current edition).

This letter is to inform you of corrections that must be addressed before your development permit can be approved. All
correction requests from each department must be addressed at the same time and reflected on your drawings. I have
enclosed comments from the following departments:
BUILDING - R DEPARTMENT: LEE SIPE at (206)-431-3656 if you have questions regarding these comments.
• This should be a new permit for addition of air lines onto existing air lines.
The last failed inspection on this approved permit has not been addressed and reinspected.
Please address the comments above in an itemized format with applicable revised plans, specifications, and/or other
documentation. The City requires that two (2) sets of revised plan pages, specifications and/or other documentation be
resubmitted with the appropriate revision block.
In order to better expedite your resubmittal, a 'Revision Submittal Sheet' must accompany every resubmittal. I have enclosed
one for your convenience. Corrections/revisions must be made in person and will not be accepted through the mail or by a

Dear Jerry,
The owner has requested to add a new compressed air line from the previously
permitted air compressor to equipment to support can line two operation. These are
from syrup tanks and pumping equipment. Plump Engineers have prepared the new
compressed air line drawings and the pipe hanger structural is the same as previously
submitted on the above permit.
I have included 2 copies of the Plump Engineers drawings and the owner revision form.
I trust this can be added to the above permit.

3. SLOPE ALL WASTE PIPING AT 2% UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ON DRAWINGS. OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM CODE AUTHORITY BEFORE INSTALLING PIPING AT
LESS THAN 2% (EVEN IF LESSER SLOPE ID INDICATED ON DRAWINGS).
4. HANGERS AND SUPPORTS FOR PIPING SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 313.3 OF THE 2015 UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE & SECTION 1613.3 OF THE
2015 IBC, PROVIDE EARTHQUAKE SWAY BRACING AT 40' INTERVALS FOR ALL PIPING WHICH IS GREATER THAN 3" WHICH HAVE HANGERS THAT EXCEED 12"
IN LENGTH AS DESCRIBED BY THE SMACNA BRACING MANUAL.
5. PIPING PENETRATIONS OF FIRE RATED WALLS OR FLOORS SHALL BE SLEEVED AND FIRE STOPPED WITH LISTED MATERIALS SO AS TO MAINTAIN THE
INTEGRITY AND RATING OF THE FLOOR OR WALL.
6. PROVIDE DIELECTRIC CONNECTIONS BETWEEN DISSIMILAR METALS. IF THE ELECTRICAL IS GROUNDED TO THE PIPE SYSTEM THEN ALL DIELECTRIC
CONNECTIONS REQUIRE A JUMPER TO MAINTAIN ELECTRICAL GROUNDING.
