Any owner or owner's authorized agent who intends to construct, enlargealter, repair, move, demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be performed, shall first make application to the building official and obtain the required permit. • R109.1 Types of inspections. Observed Conditions: On July 13, 2023, I observed multiple new items installed / constructed / attached on to the subject property's house which includes but limited to: Research: • single overheard garage door • exterior door located south of the garage door • electrical meter box with new conduit and weather head • vent stack (Le., gas hot water tank or gas furnace) • vent pipe (Le., kitchen sink) • window next to the exterior door • wood deck constructed with stairs in front of the exterior door all constructed over the basement door • porch light next to the exterior door • free standing light constructed for the driveway Reviewing the City's permitting system, I discovered seven permits for development, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing and gas were previously issued. However, three of them were expired prior to final City approval.
