There are several sequential items that need to take place before other permitted projects can proceed. Timing is causing delays for some construction and final inspections. 2. Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and/or National Electrical Code every permit application not issued within 180 days from the date of application shall expire and become null and void. Currently your application has a status of APPROVED and is due to expire on 11/29/2019. If you still plan to pursue your project, you are hereby advised to do one of the following: 1) If the plan review is complete for the project and your application is approved, you may pick up the application before the date of expiration. At the time of permit issuance the expiration date will automatically be extended 180 days. -or- 2) If the plan review is not completed submit a written request for application extension (7) seven days in advance of the expiration date. Mr Metzler had requested a stamped letter regarding IFC Section 606.12.1 and 4IAR-1 and IIAR-7. This comment was written prior to the KHS drawings being revised and submitted under M19-0010. The KHS drawings have several sections that respond to pressure relief systems for the installation as are noted on Pages 2, Pages 11 and 12. Safety systems are noted on Page 14. Page 5 shows the emergency manual shutoff. I am writing a separate cover response to Mr. Metzler noting these items on the KHS drawings. I trust this will answer his concerns. I believe that this will expedite the Glycol Room permit and I look forward to your approval and the permit issuance from the City. If you have any other comments regarding these permits, please let me know.
