All correction requests from each department must be addressed at the same time and reflected on your drawings. I have enclosed comments from the following departments: PW - PG DEPARTMENT: Joanna Spencer at 206-431-2440 if you have questions regarding these comments. • 1) Applicant shall obtain a separate Public Works Type C Construction permit for installation of a 3/4" Reduced Pressure Principle Assembly (RPPA) for water cross connection control. RPPA shall be installed immediately downstream of the existing WM and placed inside a HotBox/Rock or equal freeze protection enclosure anchored into a min. 4" thick concrete pad. Submit two sets of site plan showing location of the existing WM and proposed RPPA together with the RPPA cut sheet. RPPA size/manufacturer/model # shall be specified on plan. Construction cost shall be entered on page 1 of the attached Public Works Bulletin A2. Permit fee is $250 plus 5% of construction cost plus a small technology fee. Public Works will not approve the PG 19-0162 Plumbing Permit until the RPPA permit application is received. Public Works permit application, PW Bulletins AI,A2 and C5 together with Backflow Assy Installation Sheet WS-21 (2 of 2) are attached for your use. 2) Submit larger size plans for basement floor and main floor plan since letters are too small to read. 3) Please clarify your permit description. You are referring to the drainage lines, should these be sanitary sewer lines? You cannot connect to the drainage line in the parking area. It should connect to the sanitary sewer line in the parking area. Please explain if this connection will take place inside the building envelope or outside. 4) If the above connection is outside the building applicant shall contact Mr. Andrew LaRue and obtain a permit from Valley View Sewer District, phone (2060 242-3236 and submit copy to Public Works. 5) Applicant shall fill out and sign the attached King County Metro Non -Residential Sewer Use Certification form and list all the new plumbing fixtures. Please do not include any fixtures replaced in kind. Please address the comments above in an itemized format with applicable revised plans, specifications, and/or other documentation. The City requires that two (2) sets of revised plan pages, specifications and/or other documentation be resubmitted with the appropriate revision block.
