Revenue — Increase of 12% 2019 Seattle Southside COC Permit Process Report Summary of Priorities and Opportunities for Improvement • Develop One -Stop permitting • Plan the implementation • Fill vacant positions • Designate super users and charter user group(s) • Train/Retrain all staff • Develop/update processes and procedures • Update the website, handout materials and other public information • Promptly address any new issues Staffing • In the 2023-2024 budget 1.5 permit review FTEs were still frozen. • Interlocal agreement with City of Sea-Tac for electrical as well as building inspections between the two cities. • Contract with BHC Consultants for any additional plan review and inspection needs that may arise for the building department. • The Permit Center recently had two staff members that were out on extended medical leave at the same time.
