Mayor McLeod called the Regular Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and led the
audience inthe Pledge ofAllegiance.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mayor McLeod stated those wishing to provide public comments may verbally address the City Council
both on -site or via phone or Microsoft Teams for up to 5 minutes for items both on and not on the meeting
agenda.
1. Mary Sue Houser, Regional Manager for King County Library Systems (KCLS), provided an update
from KCLSincluding the Freedom toRead campaign and new Executive Director, Heidi Daniel, who
will be starting on March 11. She introduced members of the Tukwila Library Advisory Board. Verna
3eo[ Board N1ember, provided an update onthe Board's activities including little libraries and
upcoming events, and thanked the Council for their support.
2. Joe Ouffio thanked the Tukwila Police Department for their quality service. He commented on the

Mayor McLeod announced the Council will now go into an Executive Session to discuss:

The total amount of time will be no more than 15 minutes, and no decisions will be made during the
Executive Session. Action may be required in the {)pan Meeting after the Executive Session has
concluded.
The doors will be opened and the public invited to enter the Council Chambers for that discussion and
potential action.
7:15p.m. Mayor McLeod called for a brief recess to allow the audience members to exit the Council
Chambers.

Mayor and City Attorney.

$515,000.00 (funding coming to the City).
