This meeting will be held in -person and on Teams in the Executive Conference Room at the Tukwila Community Center,

Coast Salish people. We acknowledge their continuing connections to land, waters, and culture. We pay our
respect to their elders past, present and emerging.

• Pinky Estell
o Cornish College of the Arts will open its 2024 BFA Exhibition on Friday, March 29.
o Requested that Michael May, TAC Liaison, order a plaque for the print on loan to State
Representative Steve Bergquist
• Sheila Coppola has made two community connections in support of the Strategic Arts Plan
o She will be attending an open house by Muckleshoot artists at the Postmark Center for
the Arts in Auburn.
o She also recently met with Jake Thoennes with Duwamish Tribal Services. When
meeting, she mentioned the opportunity for Duwamish Artists to participate in the 2024
Utility Box Art Program.

o Artist Anna Mia Davidson: Proposed her project for the TCC hallway. Requesting $2,000
which includes exhibition and artist talk event: http://annamiadavidson.com/
• Commissioners agreed that rather than pursuing this exhibition the Commission should
focus on creating a transparent and equitable process for regular exhibitions of artists' work
at the community center.
o Volunteer needed to attend Parks Commission meeting to update them on TAC business for
Wednesday, April 10th at 5:30 p.m. First on the agenda and may attend virtually.
• Sheila Coppola tentatively agreed to attend.
