Mayor McLeod shared he and other Mayors recently met with Governor Inslee regarding the State's
approach to migrant and asylum seeker arrivals in the state, He reported he will be attending an
upcoming United States Conference of Mayor's Annual Meeting in Kansas City,

Councilmernber INapyan referenced two upcorning events: the annual Jiuneteenth Commemoration held
at Tukwila Village and World Refugee Day at Foster Higih Sch!ool,
Coundlinnember Martinez attended a Puget Sound Fire Governance Board meeting where they discussed
funding options to offset costs associated with housing asylees in South King Courty,
Councilmernber Hedrick indicated she will be attending Association of Washington Cities Annual
Conference in Vancouver.
C. Staff
Marty Wine, Interim City Administrator, referenced the CA (City Administrator) Report and shared Karras
Consulting has been retained to assist the City in the recruitment process for the Finance Director
