1. Call to Order — Meeting called to order at 10:04am by Chair Terra Straight.
2. Approval of Agenda — Andrew Hays motioned to approve the May 16, 2024 meeting agenda.
Terra Straight seconded the motion. All in favor; motion carried.
3. Approval of Minutes — Andrew Hays motioned to approve the March 21, 2024 meeting
minutes. Julie Herdt seconded the motion. All in favor; motion carried.
4. Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Resources —Jo Anderson, Inclusion & Engagement Manager
Jo Anderson shared the City of Tukwila's Equity Policy and DEl web a e. Board members
were invited to an upcoming DEI training with Benita Horn.
5. City Budget Outreach — Tony Cullerton, Deputy Finance Director, and Nora Gierloff, Director of
Community Development
Tony Cullerton explained the 2025-26 biennial budget process and the priority -based
approach. The City is engaging with community liaisons who are reaching out to linguistically
and culturally diverse community members for feedback on budget priorities. 2025-26

6. 2025-2026 Funding Cycle Discussion — Stacy Hansen, Human Services Program Coordinator
Stacy Hansen provided an overview of the funding review cycle including board member
responsibilities. A timeline for review sessions was shared along with reading review
assignments.
