Attendees: John Lindsay, Katrina Dohn, Dulce Zamora, Jan Bolerjack, Brooke Lamothe,
Chief Dreyer, Deputy Chief Lund
Guest: Scott Whitbeck, Tony Cullerton
1. Meeting was called to order at 6:32 pm.
2. Budget Presentation by Tony Cullerton. Mr. Culerton explained priority -based budgeting and
the city process for gathering input.
3. Approval of minutes — It was moved and seconded to approve the minutes, after correcting the
number of Flock cameras in the city.
4. Community Engagement
a. Flock Safety event — meeting with businesses about possibly adding Flock
b. Working on Juneteenth event
c. Chick-Fil-A Heroes event went well and was well attended
d. Citizen's Academy held graduation.
e. Chamber of Commerce — CPTED — Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design —
available also to homes, businesses
f. John: Also interested in personal safety resources, firearms safety course or presentation
5. Chief s Report
a. Staffing — almost fully filled — only one vacancy!
b. Emergency Management has been moved into the Mayor's office
c. Upcoming events police are prepared for:
i. Biden's visit
ii. Nelson trial
iii. SRO — meeting with school groups to prepare for re -introducing SROs into
schools
d. Hot Spots:
i. Embassy Suites Hotel — vehicle prowls and thefts
ii. Bicentennial Park
iii. 180th Bridge

a. Would like to have a purpose or goal for COPCAB — various ideas discussed.

a. City Council does coffee chats — 2 Sundays per month at Billy Baroo's
b. Need a COPCAB secretary
