In previous years, the awarded amount per year had been $60,000 per fiscal year. We have confirmed with King County our awarded amounts per fiscal year are as follows: Fiscal Year Amount Awarded 2024 (July — December) 2025 $45,000 $90,000 2026 $94,500 $229,500 This represents a total increase in secured funding of $79,500 from July of 2024 through December of 2026 when considering the previous $60,000/year baseline. Tukwila Parks and Recreation is excited to utilize these increased funds in service to our senior and veteran members of the Tukwila and King County community. FINANCIAL IMPACT This grant award is in the form of a reimbursement grant. The grant does not require a match from the City and therefore does not create any net financial impact on the General Fund (000) and/or any other City funds.
