LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Council ember Pal stated "The City of Tukwila is llocated on the ancestral lands of the Coast Sallish people. Peggy McCarthy shared information regarding the annual Foster High School All Class Reunion and Picnic that wifl! be OCCUrring on July 21 at 12�00 in m at Tukwila Community Center. 2 L Pairn Carter thanked those involved in installing country flags along Tukwila International Boulevard, She invited the Council to contribute to the Association of Washington Cities Center for Quality Communities scholarship. 3Joe Duffle indicated with the warm weather, the risk of drowning due to cold water is higher and Urgedl parents to ensure youth safety. Councilmember Martinez requested that information on the Foster High School All, Class Reunion and Picnic be posted to the City's website,, SPECIAL ISSUIES a. 20,24 City Council meeting schedule. Laurel Humphrey, Legislative Analyst, explained Resolution No. 2091, adopted earlier this year, established a pilot meeting scheduile reducing Committee meetings to once per month and hollding Council work sessions prior to Reetings twice per month, She recommended ciontiruing the Pilot meeting schedule and reevaluating in early 2025,.
